Two Puppies For Adoption

Joe,

I am trying to find a good home for two 5 month old puppies. Can you please post this with the attached picture . . . .

I am seeking a good home for TWO 5 month old puppies. They were born 3/26/10 and are 1/2 black lab, 1/2 Jack Russell. They are brother (Saka) and sister (China) and are both very kid friendly and affectionate. My father passed away unexpectantly a couple weeks ago. His goal was to get a brother & sister so they would always have each other. As I would love to keep these dogs, unfortunately, I cannot. I know my father would want these dogs to stay together, so I would like the same. If you or anyone you know is interested in raising these puppies, please call me at 410-251-7975.

Kittens

Can you please help me find homes for five (5) kittens, born July 20? The mother cat, apparently abandoned by her owner, appeared in our neighborhood in late March. She has now presented me with these adorable kittens who should be ready for adoption in approximately two (2) to three (3) weeks.

I can be contacted via email at jedshockley@verizon.net or by calling 410 749 4981.

Puppies For Adoption

Dear Joe,

Please post this on the blog as soon as you can. Thanks!

We are two adorable, affectionate chihuahua mixes with big hearts but no home. We were abandoned at a local campground and are currently being fostered by a family in Salisbury. Great with kids and adults!! Possibly a mother/son duo that should not be separated. If you like little dogs with big personalities these pups are for you!!!!

Found Kitten

Hi!! I found a kitten outside of my neighborhood about a week ago. She is VERY tiny...she looks to be about 8 weeks old, but very small for her age. She is super cuddly and lovable..we have already litter box trained her, so now all she needs is a loving home! We can not keep her because we have a young puppy and a cat already. She gets along fine with the other animals though, so she will do just fine in a home with other pets. If anyone is interested please have them contact me via email!!! litravis07@yahoo.com

Kittens Up For Adoption

Hey Joe. I was hoping that you could post this. I have 3 kittens, almost 4 weeks old and a momma kitten that need a good home. I took them in because the owners didnt seem too concerned about the momma and the kittens. I already have 3 animals, so keeping 4 more unfortunately is not in my budget. I really appreciate it. They should be ready within the next 4 weeks. All very loveable and cute. My name is Anne, and # 410-251-1066. Thank you so much for your help!!!!

Cats In Need Of A Good Home

Joe, here are 2 more, but one was camera shy, so I only have a photo of one.
LINK is a grey and white tuxedo cat looking for a good indoor home because his owner has to move to a smaller place. He's been neutered and is up to date on his shots. Also his companion, PUMPKIN, needs a home. Pumpkin was camera-shy, so we don't have a picture of him, but he looks very much like Link. He's also been neutered and is up to date on his shots.

UPDATE: Hi Joe, just wanted to let you know that the calico that needed a home has found one, Adopted today.
Thanks, LP
This is LIBBY. She has been spayed and up to date with shots (documentation will be provided). She is a little over a year old.

Mo Has Been Adopted
Mo is a grey and white tuxedo cat, a little over a year old. He's been spayed and is up to date on his shots (documentation will be provided). He's looking for a good indoor home because his owner has to relocate.

Please contact Linda at 410-749-0459 between 1 and 9 p.m.

Chinese Water Dragon ADOPTED

Hey Joe here is another animal adoption for you (I think we send these to you and you post to the site?). :) Still loving your blog & the shirts are fantastic!!!! And to think I used to hate reading the news. :)

Chinese Water Dragon

This is a chinese water dragon we have named Thai that we were babysitting until we could find her a home. My father in law is a science teacher and had her at his school. Since school is out he has no where for her to go (he already has reptiles of all kinds at home).

We think she is about 1.5 years old, is 2.5 feet long and is green and brown. She loves to ride on your shoulders, loves to climb & loves to be pet on top of her head. She comes with the tank she's in but the UVB light and heat lamp need to still be purchased along with a bigger habitat. I also have the cricket cubes (that feed the crickets you have on hand) that will also come with her. She really needs a bigger terrarium for her or a home built one because the one she currently is in is to small. She is pretty low maintenance as well (change the water bowl everyday, feed her once a day, change & clean the cage every other day).

I do not suggest anyone with little ones to adopt her. They can carry salmonella and really need to be around those who realize after they get done touching her or anything in her tank, their hands need to be washed. :)

Cookie Needs A Home

Mr. Albero,

My name is Casey and I have been taking care of an abandoned cat named Cookie for about a month now. I'll tell you how it all went down.

I was coming home around 8pm a while back and I see this cat in the parking lot with a collar on, which struck me as odd. I picked the cat up and called the number on her tag.

Some girl answered and I told her I found her cat, her response was, "Oh, that's Cookie, she's an inside/outside cat." Okay Mr. Albero, we live in an apartment complex with a bunch of college kids driving their cars too fast through the parking lots, not a big farm where a cat has room to roam, etc.

I left the situation alone, until about a month ago when Cookie showed up without her collar, roaming around the apartment complex, crying and scratching in front of my door. I started to feed and water Cookie, as I thought it was odd that she was missing her collar.

Then the thunderstorms started rolling in and this cat is sitting outside in the rain. I am terribly afraid of thunderstorms, but I ran outside, scooped Cookie up, and put her in my storage room with food and water until the storm passed. I have done this about 4 times in the past month and I cannot bear to see her sitting outside, screaming and crying in a thunderstorm again.

Cookie is very sweet, very affectionate, has no problem being handled but is a little shy at first, and squirmy. She is about a year to a year and a half old. I'm pretty sure Cookie is fixed, but not declawed. I don't know anything about her shots. I would take her in, but I have three cats of my own in my 1 bedroom apartment. Its just breaking my heart to see her suffer out in this heat.

I make sure she is fed and watered every day, and I'm pretty sure some of my other neighbors are feeding her from time to time as well. I just want Cookie to have a good home and I know she isn't a kitten but she is a great cat. I don't want to take her to the Humane Society. I know people read your blog, as do I, and there's gotta be someone out there that will give Cookie a great home. Its not her fault her stupid, irresponsible owner abandoned her and its not fair that she has to suffer because some moron girl got tired of her. If someone has a big heart for a big baby, Please get in touch with me. My heart is broken for this cat. I've enclosed a few pictures of her and where she is living right now. I built a make shift home for her outside of my apartment.

Thanks Mr. Albero,

Casey

One Kitten Left: UPDATE: ALL KITTENS ON THIS POST ADOPTED

Hi Joe,

We have only one kitten left she is a tortie (Black and Tan). I really would like to find her a good home. Can you re post my picture so that I may try to get her a good home. The calico went home today and the other kittens went home yesterday including one to my home which we are trying to mingle in with my other cats. One gentleman was interested and was to have shown up this morning to get her, but after several repeated attempts to reach him, I believe I owe it to the kitten to re post. She has been bathed and treated for fleas. She is in good health and very sweet.

Thanks for all you do,
Aliceson Newton

Two Cats

Hi Mr Albero

I read your blog everyday - Thanks for keeping me informed - -

I have seen people post things about animals before - I was hoping you might let me post my 2 cats that I need to find a home for right away

Angel is an all black 5 year old female I have had her since she was a baby - she has been fixed - goes outside most of the time she justs likes to come inside to sleep and eat - and have some lap time

Jordon is an all gray 2 year old male I have had him since he was a baby as well - he like Angel spends most of the time outside but wants to be in your lap when he is with you. - However he HATES and attacks other cats - so he needs to go to a no cat home - he is great with dogs.

If you would be willing to post this that would be great if not - no worries I understand

I have to move and I can't take my cats - I love them very much and I hate the thought of taking them to the pound - They really deserve a good home !

Thanks

Suzy

Three Kittens

Joe,

I don't want to take these babies to a shelter if I can avoid it. Their mother was abandoned on our property in Willards during the blizzard. We have 2 large dogs & can't keep this cat family. We'd be so appreciative if you could post this.

They're 8 wks. old & litter trained. My email: freebird77_1@hotmail.com. We're thankful you care about the animals.
